Overview

A classic trek crosses the Pakora Pass 4710m between Naltar and Pakora village in the scenic Ishkoman valley. Naltar is situated in Gilgit- Baltistan in heart of Karakorum. A few snow fields lie east of the pass and there is a small glacier on its west side. Crossing these obstacles adds excitement and challenge to the trek. Naltar Mountains offer a refreshing respite and quick access to great trekking. Blesses with an abundance of rain fall, unique in the largely arid Karakorum. The richly forested Naltar valley yields in its upper reaches to alpine meadows carpeted with wild flowers. Dozens of impressive 5,000m summits.
