Overview

Deosai Plain is the2^ndhighest plateau in the world. The Deosai National park protects an area of 3,000 square km.Deosai Plains 414m and Deosai Lake 4142m is located in the Skardu, Astore Districts of Gilgit- Baltistan in north Pakistan. The most beautiful Deosai in summer Pasture with greenery and countless species of Fiona and flora. Deosai means the (Land of Giants) the true beauty of Himalayas is visible everywhere around Deosai. The view of Karakorum Range from the top of the 4784m pass is legendary. In summer the spring is covered by sweeps wildflowers and a wide variety of Butterflies.

The Deosai National Park was established in 1993 to protect the survival of the Himalayan Brown Bear; this plateau is the habitat of greatly threatened Himalayan Brown and many other animals.Spring comes to Deosai late when millions of wild flowers begin to bloom all over the lush green grassland. This is the time when Deosai looks like a fairies land with a landscape full of wild flowers on green rolling hills and crystal clear water streams with snow covered peaks in the back ground.There are few Paradises in the world that can compare to Gilgit-Baltistan for unspoiled natural beauty. A combination of soaring mountains, shimmering glaciers, crystal clear water streams and flower bedecked alpine pastures in addition;the gentle, warm and hospitable character of villagers makes your trip to this part of the world a fantastic and memorable.

Naltar Valley

Naltar is a most beautiful Mountainous and forest pine valley located between Gilgit and Hunza in Gilgit-Baltistan province north of Pakistan. About 40km drive.

There is a famous lake in summer and winter known as Bashkiri Lake,situated 32km from NaltarBala. The lake gives a breathtaking and amazing view in summer and as well in winter. All around the valley known for its wildlife and magnificent Mountains scenery. There are Ski lifts under the Ski Federation, in winter the valley is covered with snow and many people come to ski in this beautiful valley.
