Batura trek is located in Passu Gojal upper Hunza valley in heart of the Karakorum. Batura is most accessible and 4th longest Glacier in Karakorum. The exceptional scenery includes 14 peaks more then 7,000 and huge ice floes plummeting more than 4,000m from the crest of the 7,500m Batura wall. The Batura area is the pasture of the local people of Passu in summer in pastures along the glacier’s margin. Local people shepherds tend their livestock and they make butter. Natively the local language is Wakhi.
